DiRT 3 Complete Edition App Reviews

Looks like it would be a great game, but unfortunately I do not know 1st hand since it won’t start. I have a late 2013 MacBook pro with all the requirements yet when I click Play at the opening screen all it says is loading. Same symptoms as ElijahApp below…

Gonna make this short and to the point. If you want a challenging, realistic, and addicting racing game…this is the game. I bought the Xbox, and both Mac versions and do not regret it. You can adjust the difficulty settings to your skill. Advise you have a Macbook Pro or new Macbook if you wanna get the full experience with this game. Doubt it will work 100% on Macbook Air or Macbook. It’s a big game. Read the requirements! Dont listen to anything less than 4 stars, they have Macbooks from 2010 I assume. Get dirty!

During the game, it would suddenly freeze without any sign. The graphic freezes, the trackpad freezes and the keyboard freezes. The only solution is to hold the power button and restart. Really frustrating ! ! !

Great graphics, great gameplay, etc. But this needs to be said. This game locks up my Mid-2015 rMBP when I apply basically anything above Medium Graphic settings. I should clarify: it freezes the computer entirely. No keyboard input, no mouse input, frozen everything. Nothing frustrates me more than paying $30 for an app or game I can barely use.

The game freezes and or crashes my computer. I have to hold the power button to shut it off and restart. Checked online to see if anyone else has had the same issue and found nothing. I just got a new Macbook Pro 15” 2015 i7 2.5GHz 16GB 1600 DDR3 with AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2GB. I bought this game the same night and the outcome is what I described above. Aside from it crashing my computer it is hands down the best rally game out in my opinion. The graphics are incredible. I did send a system report to the developers so they can see what is going on and hopefully they can come up with an update to fix this issue. If not, I’d like a refund. And yes I still gave it 5 stars.

This is the first game I bought for my new MacBook PRO. Hardware should not be an issue (2.5 i7, 16GB Ram, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB and 512 GB SSD), but the game keeps freezing after I have completed/won a stage. It will not allow me to progress through the game. I gave it a 3 Stars because the graphics and car physics are incredible. I hope they can fix it because it could be a Great Game!

It’s definetly a great racing game. I can play it with my Mac book Air(2013), without any problem except the heavy workload for the fan. Nosiy. But that’s fine. I love this game, this is the first game that I bought for my Mac.

I just downloaded it and the game won’t start!

tried for ever to load this game, it gives me the initial start page then disappears never to be found again. i have to shut down the computer to get back to my desktop. how much did i pay for this crappy game, far too much. now the problem is trying to get it back.

This Is A Great Game! Expensive But Great! I Recomend This Game To All Ages. Its Kinda Hard For The Chalanges Like Donuts It Takes Some Time To Get Into The Drift around the Object. But Other Than Those EveryThing Else Is Amazing. Such As Grafics, Races, Stearing. All The Cars Have So Much Detail. And If The Makers Read This Please Make This A IPhone/IPad Game I Would Love That. Also Maybe A Xbox One Game. xD And Maybe A Little Bit Cheaper xD But Other Than Price Best iTunes App Ever Played!

I purchased the game, downloaded, and installed it. When I went to play it however, the screen to hit play popped up and I hit play, but nothing happens. At the top it will say Dirt 3 like its open but nothing is open on my screen. I have tried redownloading and reintstalling 3 times to no avail.. I’m sure its a great game but it just won’t play. If anybody has any suggestions please tell me..

I bought this hoping to play it and have something to kill time on my cross country flight. Thankfully I have a few weeks to find something else. It starts, when I hit play, the crash reporting screen pops up. I’ve reinstalled it 3 times. It just doesn’t work.

Well I’m bummed. I payed my money. I downloaded and installed the application. I click on the icon and a dialog box opens. I click play and CRASH. That’s what my money bought. Oh actually it did run once. No mouse support. Keyboard only. That sucked too…. It looks like it might be fun, if it ran reliably and supported something beyond a keyboard out of the box… Oh Well…. Sigh……..
