Pure racing

This is my favorite racing game. It is one of the only racing games I know that is purely a RACING game. There’s no game currency to earn. You don’t purchase cars, or paint them, or put sponsor badges on them. You just choose an available car (from a “team” that wants you to race for them) and go. This is SUCH a relief, after so many games that are car-buying and fake-money-earning games more than they are racing games. And isn’t this a bit more realistic, after all? Race drivers in the real world don’t usually race cars that they own.

The races and rally stages etc. are all well done and fun. Being able to race historical rally cars is a blast.
